Two clean, manual, sport pack E36 328is. WHHHYYY?
One Red over Tan ‘97 Convertible. It’s basically an older copy of my aunt’s ‘08 328i.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Then a Black over Tan ‘98 sedan. This one has a pre-refresh nose piece though, which is questionable.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Why must you tempt me so with manuals, craigslist?

CL is flaunting a beater daily driver spec Volvo 240 wagon for $700 at me. But I must avoid it.

I can’t find one for under $4k

It’s a rust bucket. I would literally use it until it falls apart. Plus, I need FiST life soon.

Meh, the red one is a bit overpriced. I’d say $2,500 would be fair. 157,000 miles is a lot...

$2500 gets you an early model year with over 200,000 miles here.. Trust me, that’s where I was looking when I originally started car shopping. You’re not getting jack shit at that price.

You are almost comparing apples and oranges - a vert vs a 4 door?
The main issue with an older car (especially a BMW) is how it was cared for as it racked up those miles, not necessarily just the number of miles. The vert looks better cared for but an PPI inspection is the way to go. The 4 door looks well abused.
